File Settings
Using the correct file settings is not always as straight-forward as one would like. In some cases what appears to be the obvious choice can lead to problems. The choice of settings should always be made with care and attention. The links below will provide you with the basic settings that we use every day to create PDF files that are ready for print.
Note that these settings do vary from application to application. If you are using a settings file from an older version of your software not all print functionality may be supported. We have found that this could lead to the creation of a final pdf file that is not necessarily complete or ideal. This is particularly true with the use of spot colours and transparencies.
If you are using software that is not listed below, fear not. Please give us a call and we will guide you through the process. We also provide one-on-one consultation!
We are verifying that our settings are compatible with the latest .PDF updates … please check back shortly …
