File Settings

Using the correct file settings is not always as straight forward as one would like and in some cases what appears to be the obvious choice can in fact lead to total disaster. The choice of settings should always be done with care and attention. The links below will provide you with the basic settings that we use everyday in the creation of pdf files ready to print.

These settings do vary from application to application and if you are using a settings file from a previous version of your software please note that this could lead to the creation of a final pdf file that is not necessary complete or ideal. This is particularly true with the use of spot colours and transparencies.

If you are using software that is not listed below, fear not, contact us with a quick phone call and we will guide you through the process over the phone.
